Tuesday at the (Valentine's) Table

We have a busy day today, so I figured I'd start the Valentine's celebration early with some heart-shaped pancakes for my pint-size Valentine. I remember my mom making these when we were kids, and I thought it would be a fun tradition to start with Luke. Note to self: Get some heart cookie cutters next year.

Here's my favorite pancake recipe: Pam-Cakes with Honey-Butter Syrup (but on a busy weekday morning I admit to using a mix).

I'm linking up to Tuesday at the Table with Debbie. Happy Valentine's Day!

I had every intention of making heart-shaped pancakes for my two this morning and then I got up about 10 minutes before they needed to be up and I still needed a shower. Oh well...maybe they'll still be happy with heart-shaped pancakes tomorrow. Your little one is too cute!

Luke is so cute! We had heart shaped pancakes, too. The kids love cutting them out with cookie cutters. They eat the hearts and I get the scraps!

Such a sweet photo Katie - the kids sometimes make me these for Mothers Day too.

WARNING: Pam-Cakes will ruin you and make it impossible to ever again eat Bisquick pancakes. They are a Sunday morning staple around here!
