I know this is a safe place to admit that I am an Anna Maria Hoarder. Take one look at the AMH charm swap group on Flickr, and you'll see that I'm in *very* good company. I like to think that I have a special (albeit woefully one-sided) relationship with Anna Maria Horner. See, way back when, I won a FQ bundle of Good Folks on her blog, and I used it to make my very first quilt (I know, it turned out to be the most expensive giveaway ever).
Here is my stash.
I'm sure many of you have a much more impressive collection, but I have made four whole quilts from her fabrics!
My feathers quilt is AMH quilt #5 in the making.
I'm going to use the stack of charm squares to make a big, beautiful quilt, so that will be #6.
As luck would have it, I happen to have an extra copy of her new book, Anna Maria's Needleworks Notebook, and I'm going to give it away to a lucky winner! I'll also throw in some fabric, assuming I can pack it up without having a complete panic attack.
How do you win? Just leave a comment. Please make sure I have a way to contact you if you win. I'll announce a winner on Sunday morning (1/13). Good luck!

Oh, wow! I'm new to quilting/sewing and don't have much AMH, but I do have a tiny bit (I call my AMH bits "my precious!"). I would love to win; thanks for the chance!
very pretty fabrics :) hope I win ;) xoxo melzie4boyz@aol.com
I have been hoarding AMH too and found out last year how well all of the collections play together! it's awesome and so is she!
Ooh, I am an Anna Maria Horner fan as well. I wasn't quilting when her Good Folks collection came out, but managed to get my hands on some scraps via a private swap - so good! Thanks for this lovely giveaway!
I am a fan in waiting.
I read her blog and love her fabric, but am a little in awe of the fabric, so I don't own any yet. I look at it and I love it, but to actually buy it and then - gasp - cut it! I have a little fear that I need to get over I think :-)
But she inspired me to do some embroidery this year when I saw her stitching away, and I would love this book. I think the patterns in it are such lovely modern designs, that I really really want to try them.
Thanks for parting with this treasure, Katie.

Her fabrics are beautiful as are the quilts you've created with them. I've been coveting her book since the moment I knew it existed.
I'm a new blog follower, here via instagram. :)
Your quilts are all so varied, using different techniques and such wonderful use of color, I can't believe you've only made 5 quilts. I'm so jealous, I've been quilting for at least 20 yrs. Your quilts are so modern and perfect. Your doing a great job, I would think you've been doing this for many years. WOW! I'm not sucking up, I'm honestly very impressed. ;-> Toni Anne
oh wow, thanks for the chance! your quilts are amazing!! can't wait to see the feather quilt!! i've made a few of those blocks and i love them!
I love me some AMH too! Awesome giveaway!

This is how I felt about Heather Bailey's Freshcut line. I bought all I could find (after it had been discontinued) and made my first ever quilt with it. I was so glad when they reprinted! I also love AMH's fabric (especially the vibrant colors).
I have AMH's book on my birthday wish list, so I'll be happy to help you with your extra copy ;) Thanks for the giveaway!
You just don't know how happy I'd be with that book in my hot little hands!
I'm so in!!!! I love embroidery and would love to see this book in person...possibly even make something from it (I have an entire shelf if books that I apparently use by osmosis only). Thanks for sharing, and if I win I'd even let you keep the fabric. I will not be held responsible for your cardiac arrest.
I can haz pretties? My first craft was cross-stitch. My only embroidery I can muster so far is straight stitching letters (in uneven stitch length)
Her fabric is always so pretty. Love the giveaway.
What a generous giveaway! Her fabrics are just stunning...wish I got into sewing earlier since so many of her older collections are so HTF and expensive! :)
I think I should win because I've never used AMH fabric before. hehehe
The quilts you made using AMH fabric are amazing! Thanks for the chance to win!
I'm an AMH fan too. It would be wonderful to win her book.
Ooooh, your stash is droolworthy! Good Folks is still my favorite line from AMH. Thank you for the chance to win her book!
I love your AMH quilts - especially the simple squares one - I want one of those:-)
Thank you for offering the giveaway, I'm grateful to be in with a chance!
How fun! I would LOVE to win this book, Katie!
It's funny, just yesterday I was thinking about how I really should try to use some of my AMH stash!
Well, I can guarantee that my AMH is much smaller then yours as I'm a more recent convert. You've made some wonderful quilts, Congrats! And thanks for offering up such a wonderful opportunity.
I love her fabric too, but only have a few little pieces of it. I would love to win the book, thanks for having this giveaway.
i am an amh addict!
garden party is my fave and my hubby thinks i have enough...buti don't.
Its interesting to look at the different fabric designers. Some make 12-18 different designs for their line of 20-26, some make 6 for their line of 36, and color it four different ways. Her lines are always so vibrant with such unique designs!
Beautiful fabrics!! I honestly can say that I don't have any of hers in my stash but I'm not sure why since they're beautiful!
I adore AMH, Bohemian especially. I made one of my first modern quilts with Bohemian before I was even aware of the whole "designer fabric" thing. Thanks for the giveaway and yes, this is a safe place. Confess away. :)
Your quilts are so pretty! It's fun when we have favorite fabric designers, and great that AMH is so prolific! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
What a generous giveaway. I'm still new to quilting and haven't been bitten by the AMH bug yet, but I don't think it's too far off. Thanks!
Oh, I'd love to have her book!

Another AMH hoarder here. Not that I have so much of it but I gather bits and pieces here and there and love them so much I haven't yet decided what quilt design is special enough for me to use them in!
Beautiful fabrics :D
Thanks for the chance to win her book!
I love her designs and all the different substrates they're on. Absolutely love my velveteen/voile scarf with Innocent Crush. I stashed some Innocent Crush after seeing your bee quilt. Hope you are having a great day.
You've made some lovely quilts with the AMH fabric.
I'm a big AMH fan too. Still kind of stuck on the Little Folks voile. Love it. The book looks like fun too!
I also made my first quilt with Anna Maria Horner's fabric, and have been stashing her goods ever since.
I have very little AMH, but am always admiring. What a nice giveaway - thanks for the chance!
I'm pretty sure you know how to contact me. And I'll finally show you how to do a French knot.
I love needlework and sewing... the book look interesting. Thanks for the chance!
I totally understand your love of Anna Marie Horner fabrics. All her collections are so beautiful!
You know, the 1st step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem! I think most of us reading your blog are fabric hoarders in one way or another though. Thanks for the giveaway.
Wow! I make her Quick Change Trousers for any baby shower or Christmas present I can! I have yet to work with her fabric, I would love a chance. Great give-a-way!
