Hair today, gone tomorrow!

I cut off 12 inches of my hair to donate to Wigs for Kids! Wigs for Kids is an Ohio-based organization that provides hair replacement systems to children under the age of 18 who have lost their hair as a result of medical treatments, health conditions, or burn accidents. Emily told me that she has donated to Wigs for Kids and her niece has benifited from the organization, so I knew it was the way to go. before & after

It didn't seem to drastic at the time, but it does when I see the before & after!

What a cute cut for summer! Probably a little quicker to style, too!

Hooray! Your new cut is so cute!
I went with my sister-in-law when she cut her hair to donate it -- it was quite an emotional process! Hooray for you, Katie!

Very cute, and admirable! I have never been good at growing out my hair--always want to chop it off. :)

I had no idea your hair had gotten so long! The cut looks fantastic. I bet you'll only get carded half the time now.

Good on yer - I did that 6 years ago, but I had much shorter hair than you, so mine was buzzed to about 2mm :) Felt pretty good though. I bet it's nice and light and airy in the neck now - just the right thing for summer ;)

Cheers,
Christine
