After finishing my (Boom Boom) Pow Wow quilt, I had some scraps left over to make a gift for my super-crafty friend who is having a baby soon. As luck would have it, she's using this fabric in her nursery too.
I made a fabric basket using Ayumi's tutorial (she has dimensions for a larger basket at the bottom of this post). I added in some other robot-y fabrics I had on hand in addition to the Boy Crazy scraps. I consider it a personal failing that the robots ended up upside down. I really thought long and hard about how to make sure they were face up. Obviously, this was beyond my mental capacity.
I also appliquéd some robots and a space ship on onesies.
Ta-da! (The book I included is called Boss Baby, and I think it's hilarious.)

Awesome gift! I love the robot onesies.
So adorable! What a fun gift!
Oh my goodness, great, cute gift. Upside down robots are my favorite ;)
Super sweet gift, it turned out great, upside down robots and all!
I love it. And I'm excited about the matching onesies too! At least some of the fabric is in the room considering I haven't even made the curtains yet.
