Hooked.

Rachel billed her Bottled Rainbows as a leisurely quilt-along, but I don't know...these blocks are pretty addictive!

First Four Rainbow blocks
I've finished four, and I had plenty of scraps for these. Some of the other colors are going to be more difficult (I'm looking at you, purple). Going through my scraps is telling me a lot about my fabric buying habits. Pretty lopsided!

Light Blue Rainbow
I probably could've made a dozen of these light blue blocks. I squeezed in a little Sanctuary selvedge on this one.

Pink Rainbow
Pretty in pink.

Light Orange Rainbow
I have more orange fabric than I would've guessed.

Dark Orange Rainbow
This is my favorite one so far. I was able to incorporate some of my favorite fabrics in this one (Arcadia, I hardly knew ye!).

Up next: Yellow. But first, I'm going to start cutting my fabric for Lee's quilt-along. Cause what's better than one quilt-along? Two quilt-alongs! (Fact.)

And here I was going to shoot you an email about purple, oh well - that's the color I'm seriously lacking too! What other colors do you need? Maybe I can help out :) I sorted the other day and I think yellow, orange, and purple are the ones that I'm a bit light on. I love how your blocks are looking!!

I've always been a purple shun-er....but I've been liking it more and adding a few pieces here and there. I especially covet Joel Dewberry's new Avairy in purple.

I love purple! I may have soem purples if you'd like some bits? maybe we could get a little swap going since I think I'll need some bits of orange or yellow? I haven't tried these blocks yet but I'm sure I'll get to them soon! I'll take a look at what purples I have. :)

I have some purples I'd be happy to swap with you. I'm not doing this quilt along but I am torturing myself with a hexagon charm quilt so any new fabrics would be helpful to me!

Love them! I can't wait to start mine, but like you I seem to only have purple, yellow, and blue scraps.

Wow! Quilting is not quite my cup of tea in the crafting sphere, but I admire your creativity and talent! The colors are just gorgeous. :)

I may have to try this pattern because those blocks are gorgeous. Not sure if my stash is up to providing for all the colours in the rainbow though.
