Ninja attack!
This weekend, Luke and I set about making some ninjas for him and his buddy. He picked out the fabrics, blue for him, and the red woodgrain for his friend (the pattern is from Melly & Me). The pattern has some handy tips for turning the ties, but they were still pretty fiddly. I think I'd use ribbon if I made another one.
Well, I say one is for his buddy...we'll see...

SO FUNNY! That photo of him with the ninjas is priceless. :)
Turning ties...yeah, I feel your pain.
Ha ha completely adorable!
his sweet little face is adorable! he looks like he LOVES those ninjas! good work katie!
If you want to make ties without turning, do it like bias tape, by folding the sides to the center, the ends in,then fold in half and edge-stitch all the way around.
These are really cute!
I will be interested to hear how graciously he hands over cute red ninja. By the look on his face.....not gonna be easy.
Too cute! I saw that pattern at Market this weekend and thought of you and Luke, that's wild that you already had it and were working on it :) So darned cute!

TOOO cute!!! I think I am going to have to make this for my little Ninja as well! So cute!
Turning ties makes me cry. I love the suggestion of making them like bias tape. These are so cute! Now you need to make them sleeping bags.
