I finished up my Bottled Rainbows blocks. I definitely left the difficult ones (scrap-wise) for last. Some of these are a bit of a stretch, but I think they'll work when the quilt is put together.
Pink worked out pretty well.
Hope Valley+Central Park+Soul Blossoms=Cerise
Okay, the first 3 weren't too hard.
Anna Maria Horner must like this ruby color. Many of these scraps are from her fabric lines.
Indigo...yep, I cut into my new Denyse Schmidt fabric for this one.
Last and also kinda least...eggplant! I really love this color, I just own very little of it. I briefly considered ordering some fabric so I could create some scraps, but I decided that wasn't the best use of my fabric budget. So I decided to distract you with the donkey. What he lacks in purpleness, he makes up for in cuteness. And, hey, his boots are purple!
I'm just a few seams away from a quilt top!

Your blocks are beautiful. I love the concept.
Looking so so awesome. Man, these blocks all seem to be so very fabulous. Feeling the pull of the Bottled Rainbows over here....
I can't wait to see this quilt! I'm pretty sure it's going to be my new favorite. I'm so impressed with how many different scraps you have!
Your blocks are amazing! I especially like the eggplant block with the donkey and the flamingo :)
They are all fantastic, Katie! Can't wait to see them all together!
I adore that little donkey! I'm right there with you - purple is a color I'm sorely lacking in my stash, too. I love your blocks, they look so fantastic! I can't wait to see the finished quilt :)
Love you fabric selections for everything you're doing. The dirt-bike quilt--great roadway on there! Very clever idea. re: straight line quilting on your machine, do you have a walking foot? That has helped me when using my domestic machine to quilt. Keep the feed dogs up so that everything is moving past the needle nicely. The walking foot helps to smash things done and move along.
ok...2nd word you = your and my 4th to last word done = down. I need to proof before I submit !! HAA Sorry.
I intended these comments to be from your WIP blog entry, I see I clicked on the wrong comments link...but I'm sure you'll figure it out.
