Karma restored

I know you're desperate for an update on my Karma situation, and today is your lucky day! The fine folks at Dogeared sent me a replacement for the necklace Luke broke. It arrived today, and not a moment too soon! (I spent the better part of yesterday evening cleaning up shards of glass and pepper after I somehow managed to shatter my pepper shaker on the kitchen floor.) Great customer service, eh?

thank goodness peace and love has been restored. Hope this cycle lasts a little longer.

Did you tell them your kid broke the necklace or just that the necklace "broke"???

I was wondering the same--they replaced it for free even though Luke broke it? Because if they're guaranteeing their necklaces against toddlers, I'll buy three!

They didn't ask what happened, and I didn't tell. They just said that they stand by their products.

Well that's a very vague statement on their part and therefore implied that they guarantee necklaces against toddlers. Awesome!
