ha ha ha ha ha. I bet you gave him the look of DEATH.
Was it "Hey baby. Got some change to spare?" Ewww. Aunt T
I bet he said, "hey, baby, can you shake some change loose?"
It was like, "Hey, baby. Do you have any change? I'm getting my tire plugged, and I'm 81 cents short."
I felt a little bad, because he might have been telling the truth. But I wasn't about to open my wallet for him. The "baby" was the kiss of death.
You done good - katie, don't give money to beggars - many are conning you.
Grandma
Especially beggars asking for .81 cents. Maybe you misunderstood and he was trying to get your phone number?
Once when I was at that Walmart (I'm assuming you were on Lakeshore) some guys grabbed a woman's purse while they were riding in a car and dragged her on the ground while she tried to hold onto her purse. Her stomach got all scraped up. Also, Heinz has had the same guy give him the same line two different times there (I need money for gas my family's waiting in the car). But I went there today too anyway. And of course I still had to go to another grocery store because I cook fancy stuff that other people who shop there don't. UGGGGH.
I seriously didn't even have 81 cents in my wallet today, because I live off my debit card.
I guess the question is, "why do you people continue to GO to sketchy Walmart?"
Valid question, Nat. Answer: Convenience. I drive right past sketchy Wal-Mart at least twice a day. I really avoid going there at all costs, but sometimes I just get sucked in.
I couldn't find Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner refills at Publix. I got several so I wouldn't have to go back anytime soon.
