I'm helping my friend Leah with some sewing for her nursery. She picked Riley Blake's Hooty Hoot fabric, which I love. She's helping us with Luke this week, so I surprised her with this quick quilt as a thank you.
The Hooty Hoot line has this adorable panel, so I just had to quilt and bind it.
I used the Starburst print for the backing and bound it with the stripes. Very fun and easy! I'm excited to work with more of this fabric.

I love the Hooty Hoot line! If only I had some money... :)
Your quilt is cute! :)
Very cute! :)
I can't tell you how surprised and overwhelmed I was that you made me this! And Luke saying, "This is for your baby" was the cutest thing ever. And I love that you made something with the panels. The scenes are really cute so I'm glad to have them in the room. Now maybe I can start painting this weekend since I had something to match up!
When I looked at the first picture, the shape of the fence lattice looked like a border on the quilt! Very adorable.
I love the quilt and fabric is absolutley adorable!
Katie, it's beautiful! And I'm not an aficionado, but I think that fabric is absolutely gorgeous. --Marilyn
love this fabric. I can't wait to see Leah's room decorated in it.
"So I surprised her with this quick quilt as a thank you."
You're really putting the pressure on the rest of us! (It is awesome, btw!)
Katie: Leah, can you watch my Son while I make you a quilt?
Leah: OK!
What good friends.
Someone does something nice for you and you whip up a QUILT? How about flowers? or... a THANK YOU CARD?

This panel is so cute ~ I have one in my stash waiting to be put together. What color thread did you use for the quilting?
