Why I love Ellen: Reason # too many to count

It just takes one day of being home sick to remind me of the abysmal state of daytime TV. (Seriously, has anyone seen The Doctors? Someone should revoke their medical licenses on account of their lameness.) There is but one beacon of light amid the dismal abyss, and that beacon is Ellen. I think I could be friends with John Mayer too. He always seems like such a good sport.

Omg, omg, omg. I am about to pee my pants at work. Gah. I LOVE Ellen.

You're so lucky to have strep throat.

The two weeks when I was recovering from a tonsilectomy were the worst. That was before Ellen, knitting, or DVDs. I think the Mentalist and Scrubs are on tonight, so at least you have that to watch.

We record Ellen every day. She's awesome. And, all the celebrities seem to love her. I love her too.

Oh... and I love that song.

I wonder what kind of ratings a show has to have to go opposite Oprah? The doctors must barely make the cut, it is nothing compared to Dr Oz. Love Ellen! And John Mayer doesn't seem like he would be as boring as he looks when on her show...
