WIP Wednesday

Somehow I managed to not touch any of my WIPs this week. Instead, I started new ones! Sigh.

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

Finished:
Loulouthi quilt
Loulouthi Love
Started and finished this quilt since Wednesday. Details here.

In progress

Swoon-along
No progress here. I need a 1/4 inch foot for my new machine. I thought the one for my old machine would work, and it mostly does, but the needle is just a little too close for comfort, especially when I sew in reverse (and I have a few broken needles to prove it!). So I put the Swoon blocks and a few bee blocks on hold until I get a new one. I'm sure my Swoon blocks would be disastrous if I didn't have an accurate 1/4 inch seam.

Wonky Seuss
Wonky Seuss quilt in progress
Instead, I worked on a few blocks for a Dr. Seuss quilt. I stole some fabric, including this panel, from my mom, and I figured wonky was the way to go with Seuss.

Completed tops awaiting quilting:
Postage Stamp quilt
Kaleidoscope baby quilt #2
Fabricland
Scrap Attack tumblers

To do:
LynneBob block for VIBeees
Drunkard's Path Quilt-Along
Block for Jeni
Seuss quilt

Head to Lee's to see what everyone else is working on!

Wonky is definitely the way to go! I'm tempted to buy some Lorax and make a quilt for my kids with the panel. Your new projects are cute. I'm hoping to start my Swoon this weekend.

Love the Dr. Seuss blocks. I've been thinking of doing something similar with my Seuss fabric, but I love that yours are rectangular.

When Loulouthi came out, I really did not like it so much. But it has really grown on me, and your fabulous quilt is just another example why.

Oooh, love those fun Dr. Seuss blocks so far! I've been sitting on some yardage from that line since it came out, and you're making me want to use it finally! Your Loulouthi quilt is also looking lovely :)

Wonky + Seuss = winning!

Glad I'm not the only one who starts projects rather than tackling WIPs!
