My Lucky Stars quilt
Quilt top finished! I used Kona Ash as a sashing for these blocks from my VIBees friends.
And...here's the back. I based it on Jeni's Giant Vintage Star tutorial, just made it smaller and out of one fabric. Kelly suggested echo quilting on the inside and outside of the star, and I'm thinking that will be awesome!

I put this guy together. Pattern from Dare To Be Square Quilting. I need to see what I have on hand for the backing. I'm thinking red binding.

The deer quilt is fabulous, my sister goes to an agricultural college and her guy friends would FLIP over it.. love it!

I love that deer quilt! I agree red would look great for the binding. I'm working on the 'do not compute' quilt from the same book! I think I want to make them all :)

Somehow I think I've missed the star quilt before, but it is awesome! Love the colors and variety of stars. The backing for it is really fun, too! I agree that red binding would love fab around the deer. You have just been a little sewing machine, haven't you?
That reindeer is priceless!!!! Plus the fabric you used for your stars is just marvelous, and I love the giant star for the backing, that is trully inspired. Visiting from WIP.
