Oh my deer!
Heh heh. So...I finished my deer quilt top (pattern from Dare To Be Square Quilting), and I think he's kind of awesome!
Look at that cute face! I'm not sure how I'm going to finish this one. I'd like to put together the backing from my stash, but I need to see what my options are. I showed this to Luke (he thinks it's a moose--I'll take it), and he said, "Mommy, why don't you ever make any covers for me?" Now, he sleeps with at least two of my "covers" on his bed, but I think I need to get started on his superhero quilt soon!

Oh my deer indeed!!! So cool!! And yes, Luke needs his very own super cool superhero quilt :) I think some echo quilting might be awesome for this quilt...
That is so awesome!!! I love it!!!
Love your deer! You did a great job.
Love,
Marie
LOVE LOVE YOUR DEER!!!
Yeay! I just bought this book, and I love your deer top. I think this is definitely a quilt in my future. :)
I've been wondering what you meant by deer quilt. Add a red nose and some red and green and it would be cute for the holidays too!
He is pretty awesome! I love that dare to be square book, great stuff!! your's looks fantastic. And I love that your son wants more "covers"
It turned out fabulous! I am definitely going to have to make this one; i just love yours so much!
I LOVE this quilt (no seriously...I LOOOOOVE it!)
How cute! I have that book, too -- I'm hoping to get around to the owl one soon. :)
Well hello there deer! Very nice! And no pressure, mom, just whip out another cover :)
Wowza! You are fast! And it looks so cool! My boys ask that, too, every time I'm making something. As if 95% of what I make isn't for them!
Oh he's totally awesome! Yay!
That's my favourite one from the book! Fantastic job!
