A little AMH at work

I was searching Etsy for a new mousepad for work and came across this...

That's right, it's a Good Folks mousepad! It arrived yesterday and it brightens up my desk quite nicely. There are a few fabric mousepad sellers on Etsy, but I got mine here. She has lots of other fabric designers too (there are some cool ones using Soul Blossoms that caught my eye). Of course, I'm trying to figure out how she made it...

I can totally see how this would brighten your day! If you figure out how she made it, I'd love to hear it...I'm guessing some Mod Podge might be involved?

It's pretty! I want one. My Penn State mousepad rocks. But it's also dirty.

I'm wondering if you could just take an existing mouse pad and give the top a good layer of spray adhesive, put down the fabric, let dry, trim excess fabric. Maybe modgepodge or starch the fabric?

When I saw yours, I realized mine desperately needed a makeover, and I had bookmarked a tutorial for how to do it! I haven't tried it yet, but it is on the list.

These would be awesome mother's day/birthday presents. Or co-worker Christmas gifts!

I overhauled my mouse-pad with iron-on fusible webbing - just be quick with the iron - worked a treat.
