I never realized how many adults I had with their own bags till Tammy complained about it. I had a ton. I had one group of 4 kids and 8 adults and they all had their own bags.
I didn't have the nerve to complain cuz I figured that they know where I lived and might come back if I didn't give them a stinkin 2 inch candy bar.
I even gave candy to the kid who came to my house twice after I called him on it.
but no one answered their cell phone. you win.

Um, yeah. That's rude. Wow.
I started the evening with a new policy - only kids get candy - no adults.
A group came up to my door. I gave candy to the two kids, and then I turned to the woman dressed as a witch and said, "are you the mom?" She said, "yes." I said, well, I'm only giving candy to kids tonight, and she said, "BUT I'M ONLY 18!" My policy changed at that moment. Everybody got candy, even the other adults in their 30s and 40s that came to the door. Aunt T
It's good to be flexible. However, I think legally, 18 is too old to be trick or treating.
