Temporary loss of sanity

Looking for my Sew, Mama, Sew giveaway? Scroll down to the next post!

I read online this morning about a fabric warehouse sale. A local shop that custom makes kids' clothes was cleaning out their warehouse, and they were selling all of their fabrics for $4 a yard. I headed over there at lunchtime, expecting to find a lot of pastels and bunny rabbits but hoping for a buried gem. Imagine my surprise when I walked into a room full of bolts and bolts of designer fabrics! This is what heaven looks like!

I must've blacked out for a bit, because when I came to I had amassed this collection. We're talking Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, Kaffe Fassett, Paula Prass, Heather Bailey, etc.... Good stuff.

I know, I know. It's a lot. But I actually think I showed great restraint!

Did I mention it was $4 a yard?

And...now I'm officially done buying fabric. Forever.

Great score!

You did use great restraint, because if it were me, I would have probably spent around $300 - $400. This is what I do when Fabric(dot)com has their designer fabric for $5 or less a yard.

Love all the fabric choices!

I got kind of dizzy reading this - I think I had a dream with a similar situation! I think you should go back and get more...

Hey, guys, the company is called Hollywood Baby, and they're in Birmingham. It looks like you can contact them on their Facebook page (they say they're planning a weekend sale soon).

OMG, at $4 a yard, you could justify getting three times as much as you normally would! Just get what you would normally get, add up the yardage, then go get 200% more!

OMG, I can't believe you didn't buy me any! LOL, I know you don't know me, but I'd pay you to go back, I've been looking for most of those prints at a good price. Congrats on your score!...I really do have Paypal..oookay, no?

Hmm, I could point you to my post about "I won't buy any more fabric", or the one after that "Really the last shopping spree", or the one after that "It was online, does that count?" - hahaha. Let's face it, we're all addicted and so far, there's no cure :)

OH my gosh. *faint* I'm not sure how long it would have been before I regained my ability to stand again, but once I was up I would have filled 1-2 carts up. LOL

How wonderful for you. YAY!
