WIP Wednesday

Back in action! I had a great Memorial Day weekend, with more time at the pool than behind the sewing machine (I have the sunburn to prove it) but I made a bit of progress.

    Ooh, nice projects! LOVE the houndstooth! I'm still kicking myself for missing the Sliced Coins QAL (in real time; I know I can go back and do it), so I'm 99% sure I'll be joining the Kaleidoscope quiltalong.

    OH, like the city weekends! I have a charm pack and petit fours of that line that I need to come up with a project for. The hounds tooth is fantastic too!

    You're gonna kill me for pointing this out...
    but on your 8th square down on the far right side, it's facing the opposite direction. And i only notice because I was so enthralled with the quilt that I blew up the image to try and figure out the blocks! It's gorgeous! The one above it to the left is turned around too. Didn't know if it was intentional and I know I've gotten things basted and quilted before seeing flip-flopped blocks!

    I love the houndstooth quilt! That is so awesome! Are you a Bama fan? It is so perfect for people who love the Tide; I love it even though I am on the opposing side.:) The city weekend quilt is going to be so neat too!
