California love...

I took some pictures of my grey and green quilt before it flew off to its new home on the West Coast.

I used this free pattern from Oh, Fransson! (Side note: Did you see she has a book coming out in October? Must. have.)

It came out of the dryer very crinkly, which is good, because my mismatched seams are less obvious.

And...here's the back. The grey is Kona Coal, and the binding is Kona Grass. (Not coincidentally the same colors I used in my fabric flower rings.)

I hope this quilt is happy in its new home!

  1. It is crazy happy in its new home, and I've seen nary a mismatched seam (not that I'd recognize one anyway). My baby is very lucky that I have such a talented, generous friend!

  14. When I read the title, "Grey and green quilt", I thought to myself, that sounds putrid. Boy was I wrong! That is one awesome quilt. Just goes to show that I need to do more to think outside the color wheel box.
